Due to taxes and other pressing issues (but mostly taxes), I have been unable to publish a posting for a month now. I am especially anxious to give everyone a detailed report on this amazing seminar I took over two weekends on the very powerful investment strategies of Wall Street guru Michael Price. For immediate publication, my friend George in San Diego (also a fellow USC alum) has asked me to pass along to everyone that he will be the featured guest on the radio program "Live An Inspired Life" on this coming Saturday morning October 23rd.
Though it is a San Diego based program, due to the miracle of the Internet, it can be heard worldwide. His interview will run from 9 to 10 a.m. PT (so that’s noon til 1 for the rest of us.) George is a financial guru in his own right, has been running his own firm, Spartan Consulting, for as long as I can remember, and is on the finance faculties of four universities in the San Diego area. He has written one of the best books about personal investing that I have ever seen, "Dollars & Sense: A Workbook on the ABCs of Investments," which is available by emailing returnonintegrity@hotmail.com.
But perhaps my friend’s most outstanding characteristic is his sense of ethics and integrity. He is an ordained deacon in the Greek Orthodox Church and brings his Christian principles strongly into play in the way he teaches his students and counsels his clients. He is the very antithesis of the evil archetype so skillfully dramatized by Michael Douglas in the film "Wall Street" of the "greed is good" school of finance.
Though finance will definitely be a topic he discusses on the program, the show is really more about an holistic approach to finding happiness and success and how integrity, honor and love is so critical to these that it is not possible without them. I’m sure no one who takes the time to tune in will be disappointed. The broadcast will be repeated 9 pm PT Mon October 25th.

I have missed publishing these posts and will try to do so more regularly from now on. I will try to send along my impressions of the Michael Price seminar tomorrow.
